Start or stop a background logger that checks your router, Cloudflare, Google DNS and Google every 5 seconds and writes a CSV log. Show summary reports lost replies, latency, jitter, roaming between boxes and link speed. Check now is a quick four-ping test.
Wi-Fi snapshot reads your connection: signal, band, channel, speed, and which box you are on. If you have a mesh, it lists each box and flags known trouble such as backhaul sharing a channel with devices. Rescan nearby asks the adapter for a fresh scan; it can cause one brief blip, so avoid it during a game or call.
Only appears when config.local.json points at the clip pipeline. Shows counts, starts an upload, lists or runs the Drive archive. The archive only copies and verifies; it never deletes.
Lists watched jobs and how long they have run. To watch something new, add one line to $script:TaskPatterns in TechTools.ps1.
Shows a saved Claude usage snapshot (5-hour and weekly limits) and buttons that open Claude, ChatGPT and Gemini in your normal browser. ChatGPT and Gemini offer no safe, sign-in-free way to read remaining usage, so TechTools does not scrape them.
A thumbnail viewer for a folder of clips, using the same thumbnails Windows Explorer makes. Browse to any folder; double-click plays in your default player. Shows the newest 150 and loads thumbnails a few at a time, so the window stays responsive.
Live free space on each drive, a saved snapshot of cloud storage when available, and the three biggest files in your main folders. Those come from a cache with a last-inspected time, so the tab opens instantly. Rescan biggest files refreshes the cache in the background.
